2011 Walk With Me
Thank you for join us for the 5th Annual Easter Seals Walk With Me event. You helped us to spread hope and raise funds to help children, adults and their families living with disabilities in the West Alabama area.
This year over $15,000 was raised to provide speech therapy for children, and to assist our transportation department in providing rides to work for people with disabilities until they can secure personal transportation. In 2011, we will have provided approximately 10,000 rides to persons in Tuscaloosa who don’t have a ride to work. This service helps remove a major barrier to employment for hundreds of individuals each year.
