Easter Seals Alabama has their "Day on the Hill" for 2010

Easter Seals Alabama recently visited their local legislators on the Hill in a continued effort to educate them about services provided by the organization. This is their fourth consecutive year to visit Montgomery.

Presentations of artwork and symbolic checks depicting their $17.8 million contribution to the local economy by assisting with the employment of people living with disabilities in industries across the State during fiscal year 2009, were presented to Governor Bob Riley.

Easter Seals Alabama is comprised of 8 community rehabilitation programs that served more than 20,000 children, adults and families throughout the state and well-known Camp ASCAA in Jackson’s Gap. “We are proud to be a service provider of rehabilitation programs for children and adults living with disabilities, and we lend support to their families as well,” stated Lynne Stokely, CEO Easter Seals Alabama.
