Easter Seals Alabama has their “Day On The Hill”
Easter Seals Alabama, Inc. visited their local legislators on the Hill February 26st in a continued effort to educate them about services provided by the organization. This year is their third consecutive year.
Presentations of artwork and symbolic checks depicting their $17.3 million contribution to the local economy by assisting with the employment of people living with disabilities in industries across the state during the fiscal year 2008, were presented to Governor Bob Riley and Lt. Governor Jim Folsom, Jr.
Easter Seals Alabama is comprised of 8 community rehabilitation programs that served over 20,000 children, adults and families throughout the state and the well-known Camp ASCCA in Jackson's Gap. “We are proud to be a service provider of rehabilitation programs for children and adults with disabilities, and lend support to their families as well”, stated Lynne Stokley, CEO, Easter Seals Alabama.
