Easter Seals West Alabama Meets with Governor Bentley
The local office of Easter Seals in Tuscaloosa stopped for a photo opportunity with Governor Robert Bentley during the organization's annual Day on the Hill. Presentations and a symbolic check were made to the Governor and Lt. Governor Kay Ivey depicting Easter Seals Alabama's $22 million dollar economic contribution to the State through employment services for people living with disabilities.
In 2010, Easter Seals West Alabama served over 1600 Alabamians in Tuscaloosa and surrounding areas. Easter Seals West Alabama has many services, some of which include children's developmental centers, physical rehabilitation, and job training to help people with disabilities address life's challenges and achieve personal goals.
